Before you book your first class, you will need to download our booking app. Head to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and search NAKARMA — choose the app with the orange background and white logo and “Momence” listed underneath. Please avoid the older version with the reversed colours, as it’s no longer in use.
Once you’re in, check out our Locals Intro Offer: $50 for 3 classes over 2 weeks — the perfect way to explore Reformer, Barre and Yoga. From there, follow the steps to browse classes and jump into our timetable to book your first session.

I’ve never done Pilates · Barre · Yoga · Aerial — is that okay?
At NAKARMA, we offer Pilates · Barre · Yoga and Aerial classes organised by intention and skill progression.
Whether you’re new to movement or highly experienced, there is a clear place to start and a smart pathway forward.
Beginners are encouraged to begin with Explore or Align, with guidance and options provided throughout each class.
All classes fit within one of five intentions:
Explore · Align · Flow · Power · Unwind
An assessment is required prior to starting if you:
- wish to attend Aerial classes
- are recovering from surgery
- have a recent injury
- live with a chronic illness
- have not exercised in the last 12 months
- are post-natal within the last 6–8 weeks
Power classes are designed for experienced movers and may require prior experience or instructor guidance.

I’m new — where do I start?
- Download the NAKARMA app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Choose the version with the orange background + white logo. (Please avoid the older reversed-colour app.) - Register your account, complete your profile, and sign the waivers so you’re ready to move.

Do you have an Intro offer?
Yes — our Locals Intro Offer is $50 for 3 classes over 2 weeks.
It’s the best way to try Reformer, Barre, and Yoga for the first time.
Please note:
- Aerial classes are excluded from this offer.
- Holiday makers are not eligible.
- You must be a permanent local resident to access this intro pass.
What should I wear?
Comfortable activewear that allows you to move easily: -
Reformer: Grip socks are required for safety and hygiene. (Available in-studio.) *No zippers, buttons, or hardware on clothing to protect the reformers.
Barre: Regular activewear is perfect; grip socks are optional.
Yoga: Wear comfortable clothing you can stretch and move freely in.
Aerial: Leggings and a T-shirt with sleeves are required to protect your skin. *No zippers, buttons, or hardware on any activewear, as these can damage the silks and equipment.
What should I bring?
A water bottle, a towel, your grip socks and your best attitude.
We provide all equipment, however for mat-based classes we recommend bringing your own yoga mat for comfort and hygiene.
How early should I arrive?
For your very first class, please arrive 15 minutes early so we can check you in, show you around, and help you get set up.

Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of Corlette, near Nelson Bay in NSW. Find us next to the Corlette General Store at 29 Sandy Point Road, Corlette NSW.
We do have a separate Barre and Aerial studio located at 25 Sandy Point Road.
I'm pregnant, can I still come to class?
Yes, absolutely. We welcome pregnant people to all Reformer Align Classes up to 16 weeks. After 16 weeks, you are welcome to join the FLOW class dependent on your level of fitness. If you're unsure, please speak to us in the studio.
Aerial is excluded for pregnancy.
I have an injury, can I come to class?
If you're recovering from a specific injury we recommend speaking to us in the studio prior to booking a class.
I've booked my first class, but I can't make it. What do I do?
We have a 12-hour cancellation policy, if you know you can't make your class at-least 12-hours a head of time please go ahead and cancel. Your credit will be returned to your account (please note the expiry date for single-class passes is 7 days).

Can I bring my child to sit in the corner?
For safety reasons, children cannot sit in the studio during classes. Our sessions involve moving equipment, shared spaces, and low-lights at times — all of which make it unsafe for little ones to be in the room.
If childcare is challenging, please reach out and we’ll help you find class times that work best for your schedule.
What is your age restriction?
For safety and insurance reasons, we do not cater to children under 16 years of age.
All participants must be 16 or older to attend classes at NAKARMA.
If you have a teenager interested in joining, feel free to contact us — we can advise on suitable class options once they meet the age requirement.
